Miniature 1:12 Cat sculpture - Tangled in blue by Pajutee Miniature 1:12 Cat sculpture - Tangled in blue by Pajutee
A special request commission cat sculpture in miniature 1:12 scale -- created by hand using polymer clay with delicate wire support in legs, neck and tail.  Fashioned in a playful, flip-flop pose - this cat was made to be showcased in a client's custom miniature roombox vignette (published in Miniature Collector magazine).  After the sculpture cured in the oven, it was painted in acrylics and dressed in a permanent coat of alpaca/silk fibers and flock.  Detailing in fabric inks.  Shown here alongside Scrabble game pieces to give you an idea of actual size.

Awesome, the DD is indeed well deserved!

I have a question: if it is not a trade secret, can you tell me how you managed to make the fur? I am a newbie in modelling, and I've been wondering how to deal with fur for quite a while :D

Thanks!  Its not a trade secret...if you wish to see how it is done, note me with your email address and I will send you a free step-by-step tut (.PDF) on how to apply fiber to a commercial model.
