Back to making squirrels today. This little one will be going to live in a beautiful miniature garden box 
It almost did not make it to completion however, as while I was taking it out of the oven (curing the polymer clay), I dropped it onto the floor. I was on my hands and knees trying to find this tiny clay sculpture for about 10 minutes and just could not see where it had landed. As I stood up and stepped backward -- I found it -- under my foot! Luckily, I did not mash this delicate piece beyond repair
