Miniature Kitten Sculpture of polymer clay/fiber by Pajutee Miniature Kitten Sculpture of polymer clay/fiber by Pajutee
This tiny 1:12 scale Torbie Kitten sculpture was created by hand using a firm, blended polymer clay with wire support in its little legs, neck and tail.  Its tail is wire-based and can actually be posed like in the photo or curled around its body.  Its mixed calico and white coat (torbie) was applied layer by layer using tweezers, scissors and glue.  Pink paw pads were painted and individual whiskers were inserted one by one and set with glue.  It was purchased by a collector at auction in June 2013 and currently lives in Australia.

All these are amazing! You're incredibly talented. They all look so real, and they're so small. I love miniatures, the more realistic the better. And you have just made my day!

I'll have to go look through the rest of your gallery now.

my cute-o-meter just esploded. Then I read through comments and how you put him together, and my mind 'splodes even further. Your attention to detail is just incredible... honestly when I first looked at the thumbnail, and even the enlarged picture, I thought you had photoshopped a kitten to look tiny.
I absolutely adore the little paddy-paws :meow:

The sculpting of cats and kittens took a bit of time to get right at this scale.  Matter of fact, even though I have been making miniature cats for years now, I still try to make the sculpture more realistic with each one I complete.  The furring process onto the polymer clay actually goes along fairly quick once you get the hang of it.  Especially if it is all one color >wink<

Thanks!  I do not normally put my hand in the photo to show size when I take photographs for the miniatures community.  I typically set up a vignette using other miniature props.  Not many here in DA are familiar with some of the 1:12 scale dollhouse furnishings and accessories, so, a common object like a coin, match, pencil or hand works well to show the actual size of the sculpture.
