Description
If curious as to what lies beneath that furry, fiber coat of my miniature scale cats -- this pic is an example of how I generally start all my smaller sculpts. I first form a raw clay shape of the head and body using polyclay and tools. Then I will bake/cure the head/body, and will carve and refine the face, nose, mouth, ears, etc. Once I get the overall shape down, I will use an Xacto to cut the head away from the excess clay I used to hold onto it while sculpting. Next, I will drill both head & body and attach together using wire in the core (and bake once again). After the piece has a final cure in the oven, I will paint with Genesis oils, and finally, apply a natural fiber layer using glue. I find it very odd after having showed this procedure, that some individuals still think that my work should be classified as Needlefelt??

Hey. Your cats are very beautiful. Can you write which glue you use? Adhesive for attaching hair to the body of a cat? What company produces glue?
