Miniature Bengal Cat Sculpture

This miniature Bengal cat sculpture (about 1.5" tall) was hand-sculpted using BeeSputty clay over a tiny wire armature and dressed in an applied coat of alpaca/silk fibers. 

I initially made the cat in November 2015 for the sole purpose of staging with this balloon vignette, and used the digital photographs for designing a friends birthday card   The balloon is plastic and is suspended from ultra-fine fishing line to give the appearance that it is floating.
